Thanksgiving Holiday

A few more pictures from my first Thanksgiving holiday. Yep, we went swimming and drank beers (well Dad, Mom, Aunt Sarah & Uncle Matt did) on the patio on thanksgiving day and went swimming. It was 70 degrees! I dipped my feet and tried to figure the whole pool thing out.

Turkey Day with Cousin Ben

I had a super first Thanksgiving (it was so good that I'm really bored today)! The Gibbs Family hung out with us all week, and I finally got to meet Ben. Here are a few pics of us hanging out.....it's really hard to get pictures of the 2 of us since we are constantly on the move. I'll fill you in on the rest of my turkey holiday soon.

Cowboy James

This week my Nanny Jackie took this picture of me. She is studying to be a professional photographer and likes to use me as a model. I think I'm cute enough! Jackie is super great and I have lots of fun with her during the day.

Happy Mornings

Now that Mommy is back at work we have our special together time in the morning. I get to cuddle in the big guy bed while I yawn (as you can see) and slowly wake up. I am usually full of smiles in the morning. On Wednesday Mom had to go to Chicago so I got to have big bed time with Daddy. Oh happy mornings!

Me and my Jumperoo

My jumperoo is one my new favorite toys. I love the spinning sun and the pop up tiger. I can kick my legs against the telephone book that Mom & Dad put under my feet because I am not tall enough to reach the ground. I LOVE to stand! Grandma tells me its because I am getting my legs in shape for skiing and hiking in the future, I agree.

3 Months

First Trip to Wisconsin

I had my first trip back to the homeland. It was a quick trip but I got a feel for the Fox Valley and was able to give my Aunt Claud shout-outs in person. I hung with my Nana, Grandpa, Grandma and Opa some more and met more special people including my Great G&G Reinke, Uncle Peter and cousins, Anna & William. I can't wait to go back at Christmas time and meet the rest of the family!

Someones Been Sleeping In My Bed

I went to lay down for my nap today and found Leo in my pack-n-play so I got to take a nap on Mom & Dad's bed instead.

Almost 12 Weeks

With nearly 12 weeks under my belt its pretty amazing how much I've grown. I was 13 lbs, 9 oz last week. We haven't measured my height in a while but based on my clothes I'd say I've passed the two foot mark. Last week I found the TV (football holds my attention the longest!). I love looking at my hands and feet - I'm not sure if I'm the one controlling them yet, but when they move I love it! I'm getting ticklish, enjoy music and being sung to. I strongly dislike my carseat right now. I continue to like catnapping throughout the day, I'm afraid if I sleep more than 45 minutes I might miss something. I LOVE my Baby Bjorn, standing (with help from mom & dad) and my bouncy seat. My jumperoo is pretty fun too but I need a phone book under my feet to help me out.

Adventures with Bumbo

At first I wasn't so sure about this bumbo seat stuff..... then I decided it was really fun. I'm 10 weeks old now and growing like crazy. I was 2 feet tall and almost 13 lbs at my last check-up over a week ago.
Mom decided to stay in Tulsa this week even though its homecoming at NU so we are going to eat bratwurst and kraut at Oktoberfest instead. Go Cats!

2 Month Birthday

Today is my two month Birthday. Wow am I getting big and changing fast! Tomorrow I have my two month check-up and shots. Mom seems kinda nervous about the shots part, I'm not sure what it is so I'm not worried about it. Can't wait to weighed and measured to see how much I've grown.

Aunt Claudine Visits

My Aunt Claud came to meet me this weekend! She is really fun and loved hanging out with me. She told me all about my cousins and all of their tricks at my age. I can't wait to meet Anna & William at Christmas time.

Yeah! Dale Turner YMCA

Tomorrow is a big day in Shoreline, WA. We wish we could be there for the grandopening of the Dale Turner YMCA but instead we are sending our support in spirit. I can't wait to see the new Y (my Mom says it is really cool) and meet all my Seattle Y playmates!

So Cute

Home Again

Well I'm back home again and survived my first roadtrip. It was really fun and I traveled like a rockstar. I'm posting a few more pics of my adventure including me hanging out in the Aspen trees, Dad & I after a hike, Mom & I hanging in Telluride and a family photo in Snowmass. While the Baby Bjorn knocks me out every time, I still have a much better appreciation for why I'm always hearing about how cool the mountains are.

First Hikes

I had my first hike up the Snowmass Valley. The leaves on the aspen trees are changing right now and they are beautiful with Mt Daly in the background. Since I did such a good job with this little walk, we hiked to Crater Lake below the Maroon Bells yesterday. I love my Baby Bjorn and have a hard time staying awake to enjoy the scenary.

Rocky Mountain High

We made our way over to Snowmass. I slept most of the way with a few stops for feedings along the way. Mom & Dad told me funny stories about the mountains, towns and ski resorts along the way. My first Rocky Mountain adventure began at Independence Pass, a favorite stop of my Mom's when she was a kid. I didn't mind 12,095 feet of altitude but I could have done without the wind.

My First Roadtrip

Here's a picture of me in Hays, Kansas, fresh off a diaper change and feeding. I think I like this road trip stuff and Mom & Dad tell me I am traveling like a champ!

Laundry Time

I'm getting better about helping Mommy with chores during the day. I chilled on the clean laundry smiling yesterday while she changed the loads out.
I'm about to take my first road trip! I don't know what to expect but Mom & Dad tell me we are going to the mountains. They are very excited about it so I am too. I can't wait to show you pictures of me from a Rocky Mountain high!

Hanging In My Jammies

I made it from 9pm last night until 10am this morning without peeing, pooping or spitting up on my jammies! Since I've only had a few cat naps since 3am, I'm fighting sleep big time (so is Mommy).

One Month Old

I had my one month birthday on Sunday. I may have been born in Oklahoma but I am a cheesehead at heart. We'll be posting a picture of me with my cheesehead at each birthday so you can watch me grow!

Grandparents Rule!

We took my Nana and Papa to the airport on Monday. They had fun meeting me and I loved hanging out with them. I like my Papa's lap where I can look outside the window while he rubs my temples, and my Nana knows just how to sooth me when I have the fussies. Mommy really appreciated them taking me in the morning so she could get some extra zzzz's.
After meeting all my grandparents over the past few weeks, I've decided they are just the greatest! I wish they didn't live quite so far away.
